Discussing cables
If you find meaningful or important information in a cable, please link directly to its unique reference number. Linking to a specific paragraph in the body of a cable is also possible by copying the appropriate link (to be found at theparagraph symbol). SUBJECT: BARONESS SCOTLAND WILL ATTEND SECRETARY'S WOMEN LEADERS' WORKING GROUP, BUT HAS QUESTIONS REF: A. STATE 086086 B. STATE 086470

1.(U) Baroness Scotland, Attorney General to Her Majesty's Government, in a response to the Secretary's invitation, has notified Post she will join the Secretary at the Women Leaders' Working group at UNGA.

2.(U) Baroness Scotland said that she is looking foward to participating in discussions about issues of women's empowerment. She has asked to be informed of the agenda items and names of other participants as soon as those are available. She has also asked to be notified of any and all security and/or access information as soon as it is available.

3.(U) Baroness Scotland has no dietary restrictions, speaks better English than most Americans at Post, and prefers to utilize James P. "Mac" McDonald at Embassy London as her POC.
